Mutual hands Davies claims service role.
Teachers Assurance has appointed the Davies Group to their panel of claims service providers.
The specialist mutual organisation set up to provide financial services, including insurance for those working within the teaching profession, made the announcement following a review of its claims service providers.
Peter Orvin, head of customer services at teachers assurance, said: “As a specialist provider to the teaching profession it is vital that we have service providers that can deliver the very best services available.
Mr Orvin added: “We feel this is a particular priority when it comes to claims. In conducting our panel review we were very impressed with the offerings of Davies and believe they will offer an excellent service to our members.”
Paul Meechem, business development manager at Davies, said: “Teachers will be utilising a number of our services including; loss adjusting, surveying as well as supply chain offerings. Over the last two years we have made significant progress in developing a ‘total claims service’ offering and are delighted that this is paying off and organisations like Teachers are sharing the benefits.”
The new panel will come into force from 5 October 2009.
