Davies has been appointed to provide an innovative solution to LV= for their building claims.
Following a review of their existing services for handling building related claims LV= have decided to introduce a new business model in conjunction with Davies Group.
In this move Davies will provide a claims management platform that will see them validate all claims and then work with their sister group company Eastwell and Rok to affect the building repairs.
An LV spokesperson said "We feel this new model works well, as it offers different companies looking after different elements. We believe this new deal offers a better service."
John O'Roarke, managing director of LV general insurance, added "We have undertaken a full review of our home insurance claims strategy. We believe by moving to this new model, with a separate validation team and building repair supplier networks, our customers will benefit from a choice of settlement options."
Speaking of the appointment, Darren Coombes, Davies Group's Director of Markets said "We are delighted to have been selected to work so strategically with one of the UK's best known insurance brands.
